I am a guy that is sensitive and I do see your point. Strength is a good quality in any person, male and female... But I will say this to you... Just for an example you see a black guy, do you automatically think he speaks slang, or that he is uneducated... you see a white guy do you assume that he is literate and holds a job... We've been brainwashed into thinking that guys are strong and we don't need anybody or anything when in reality that is far from the truth! We are people with emotion and feelings... just always remember this, a man that does not cry and expresses his true feelings when they need to be expressed will generally express himself with anger and violence. This is true with any human being regardless of gender... people who hold things in let that feeling fester inside of them till they can't take it any more and then it comes out in an explosion of emotion and generally by that point it isn't nice to those around them... I used to feel like I was less of a man because I wear my heart on my sleeve...but as I've gotten older (I'm 31)I realize that a TRUE man has no problem crying in front of others because he is secure in himself...and in a relationship he certainly has no problem crying in front of his girl at least I don't, because your girl is supposed to love and care for your well-being, and it's not healthy to suppress feelings and emotions. If I was with a girl that made me feel less of a man because I cry or am willing to express I've been hurt, I would say she doesn't deserve me... always remember that sensitive guy's like myself will always put themselves in your position to better understand why you may be hurt or angry or whatever the situation. macho guys don't do this... they feel that you are lucky just to be around them and your issues that your having are complicating their life... when it comes to macho guys they feel the world and especially their girl revolves around THEM. It was the macho men who felt women shouldn't work or vote or have a say in anything. To those types of guys woman are only here for them. To do their cleaning, cooking, and be at their beck and call for sexual pleasure... It was us sensitive guys that stoop up for what was right and let women have a say by voting, working, and being in control of their OWN lives. We are the ones that fought for YOUR rights... Now we are the ones alone without someone to share our lives with, because a lot of women feel that a man that cry's complicates their lives. Now women feel, we a sensitive guys, should feel lucky that you even give us the time of day... Wow... woman are now doing what macho guys do to girls... making us feel that the world revolves around them... All I can really say is this: you think that sensitive men should be strong at the same time, well you should be strong and put your arms around your man when he cry's cause in a relationship your supposed to be there for one another... and when one CAN'T be strong for whatever reason the other should be there to pick then up and assure them that everything is going to be okay... so I would suggest that you put your big girl panties on and thank your lucky stars that us sensitive guys pulled for you and put ourselves in the position of women to understand that the suppression women used to have to become accustom to was wrong!!! Because we should see you as equals and walk side by side together in partnership...
