How can I be certain that the universe isn't merely a figment of my imagination?

    Do you know my house number? The fact that I know my house number, and you don't shows that i am not in your mind, otherwise you would subsequently know everything I do, and would know my house number. But then, how do you know, that I know my house number. Is it possible for your imagination to prove to itself that it dosn't exist.
