Help answer this question below.

Why would God create Satan if He knew that Satan would rebel?

    One answer would be to create an equilibrium between good and evil, and to have somewhere to put sinners. You could also use the age old "God works in mysteries ways" quick fix. But the most obvious answer would be, because God is fictional, and therefore dosn't have to make sense.

    • Again, sin is attributed to Satan, if He hadn't been created, there would be no need to find a place to put sinners. This answer just doesn't make sense.

    • I think its all based on freewill. What is the satisfaction in being worshipped by robots? Give them a choice and things get a lot more interesting.
