    • aand another question, would it make sense to say "vous voulez juste que j'ale ete gaie" ? because i'm writing a poem and gaie rhymes with égaies..

    • My pleasure. Yes, "ale" is an auxiliary verb which it does provide
      (don't ask me why) help to the verb "etre"(to be). And also yes to
      the last question. I suppose you could use the word "gaie", which
      is an adjetive meaning "cheerful".
