Is spanking your child against the law?

  • In the United States according to the law corporal punishment is only abusive if it leaves a visible mark after 24 hours or causes harm to the child's health. Personally I don't agree with this definition but this is what the legal definition is.

    • I don't agree with this definition either. It seems to me like you're only abused if you can prove it, according to this definition. If you can't prove it you're not. This is so wrong. Truth is truth regardless of proof. So many innocent people have gone to jail for no reason. And so many guilty are out of it. And we call that justice. God Help us.
