Is the Rubik's revenge cube harder than the regular Rubik's Cube?

    Yes. The rubik's revenge is a 4x4x4 cube instead of 3x3x3. This means that there are 7 x 10^45 (7 with 45 0's after it) combinations it can be in, compared to 43 x 10^18 (43 with 18 0's after it) combinations for the regular cube. The world record for speed solving the regular cube is 11.13 seconds, compared to 53 seconds for Rubik's revenge.
