What should you say to a child who questions the existence of the Easter Bunny?

    That would depend alot on whether or not it is your child. I've seen parents totally go off the deep end when another child or parents "ruins the mystery" for them. One parent went so far as to call my nephew a liar when he told her girls there was no santa. So nice.
    Anways, if its YOUR child, yes, I think honesty is best and if you encouraged the fantasy then allowing your child to make their conclusions without lying is of course best. Children aren't stupid, don't treat them like it.

    If they are NOT your children, tell them, "That is a wonderful question! You should ask your mommy or daddy about that. I bet they would know for sure."

    And save yourself some harm, if your child knows there isn't such thing as santa or the easter bunny, you should probably give them the heads up that other children aren't ready to know this and its their mommy and daddy's job to talk to them about it when the time comes. :)
