Help answer this question below.

When you play outside lines in a solo what do think about and any tips for applying this? e.g. Semitone up/down, Coltrane cycle , Just use your ear.

    • well thats 50% what i do at the moment but then i go to gigs andre see guys who truly no what their doing when their going outside and im like "argh im feel like a cheap imitation". but hey this isnt the place for me to talk about that.
