    In general, no.

"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment." (Hebrews 9:27)

Although this cliche is not found in the Bible, the principle of "as a tree falls, so shall it lay" is quite scriptural. God gives us mercy until our last breath, but after that we face Him in whatever state we chose at our last breath.

There is no scripture to warrant those in hell having a second chance. I know this can raise a myriad of questions; and I answered this "in general". There is always God's sovereignty and wisdom, which far supercedes mine. But disobeying the Gospel of Jesus Christ and risking being lost with the idea that I might possibly have a second chance is not something I want to benchtest. The odds are definitely not in favor.
