What causes withdrawal symptoms from anti-depressants?

    The anti-depressants regulate the levels of the chemicals serotonin (and others ) that reach your brain. Once you stop taking the drugs...your body tries to regulate the levels itself...It wants to maintain the levels that you had when you were taking the drug....
