"Creation" is a broad term used in the Bible to denote everything that God created. This includes the heavens and the earth; the land and seas; the stars, sun, planets, moon and all heavenly bodies; every living (or extinct) creature and vegetation; and man and woman.

"Creation" includes everything that can be perceived (and undoubtedly more that hasn't been perceived) which God created. Although Genesis does not record this, I suppose you could include the angels within this vast scope.

Some excellent verses that are used in this way are as follows:

Mark 10:6 "But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female."

Mark 13:19 "For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be."

Romans 1:20 "For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse."

Romans 8:22 "For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now."

II Peter 3:4 And saying, "Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation."
