Help answer this question below.

If i work on a cruise ship and we come home every 7 days at the end of each cruise,does the next cruise start that same day? or is there a day or two before we start agian? and if we do, do we stay on the ship or in a hotel?

    It would depend on your ship's itinerary. I used to work for Norwegian Cruise Lines and every ship I was ever on had disembarkation the same day as embarkation. The only time this was different was when the ship was ending one itinerary and starting a new one. Then we might have a day or two between to move to a new home port.
