Yes, birth control pills do have an expiration date, and you shouldn't depend on them for birth control if they're expired! Plus, like another person said, if you only have one pack of them, it wouldn't do you much good anyway--BCPs are only effective as birth control after one month of continuous use (although some say one week--but better safe than sorry, right?). If you want to start birth control, just go see your doctor for a prescription--and remember, the lower dose pills have less side effects but are also more dependant on you taking them at the correct time every day and not missing any pills. im suppose totake my pill at the same time everyday but i always miss it but i always take it within the hour, will it still work

I started my first pack of birth control and I missed three days, resumed back taking the pills and then missed another 3 days.
