Help answer this question below.

How can one breathe in with their nose and out with their mouth at the same time?

Answers. Showing one answer.

  • You can't. When some says breathe in with your nose and out with your mouth they mean first inhale through your nose then exhale through your mouth.

Just because that's how are bodies are designed. Just like you can't open and close your eyes at the same time. If you want to know why you will have to ask whomever or whatever designed the human body.

    • yes. you. can... it's called circular breathing... like what the guy on top said... many wind players learn to breathe out or more like push out air while breathing in through their noses. And you can't inhale while exhaling into your lung cuz... you breathe through making your lung cavity bigger, creating a vacuum... you can't just let air flow through it without any lung movements. essentially you can't inhale/exhale at once because your lung can't contract and expand at once....
