What is the simple modification necessary for a cyrus power amp to accept the psxr?

    The Cyrus PSX-R power supply is intended to work with a number of Cyrus components, including the following power amps: Power, X-Power, SmartPower, SmartPower Plus, and 8 Power. No modifications are needed to use the PSX-R with these amplifiers. Details on using the external power supply with any compatible products is included in the relevant user manuals.

    The PSX-R cannot be used with other Cyrus power amps, because it does not meet the proper voltage and/or current needs of these products. Modifying a PSX-R in any way would, of course, void the manufacturer's warranty.

    • This answer is false for the POWER (not X POWER) amp, who needs a modification to be used with the psx-r.
