Never use the hot sauce. Besides the fact that you are teaching your child how to be cruel to his children, small animals and any helpless critters that come his way through life, it's also cruel to him/her. Affensive behavior usually disappears on its own as the child grows. If it doesn't or gets worse it is an indication that something is wrong in their environment or his health/mind and needs attention from a qualified therapist. Cruelty only begets cruelty.
