I don't think they consider anything other than the fact it is lower in calories. We are obsessed with being thin. Any means justifies the end--just as long as the end means thin.

You're reading Why is America deceived into thinking diet soda is better or healthier than regular soda? Artificial sweeteners contain Aspartame, aspartic acid, methanol, and phenylalanine which becomes formaldehyde petrol which your body can't break down.

It has to do with "Weight" BUT muscle is heavier than fat so "Weight" should not be the issue,it's a form of psychological warfare of sorts from the misinformation dept ..... it all how it's put together that counts and only real food and exercise can achieve that ...
