Question

Help answer this question below.

I have a 3G iPhone and a 2G iphone unused. My question, should I sell the 2G or keep it as a backup in case my 3G is lost or dropped? I have a 2 yr. contract; as I understand it, if I have to replace the 3G I would have to pay full AT&T price? What to do?

Keep them both. I got my 3g stolen right after i upgraded and got the discount price. I had to pay full price to get a new one. there is NO insurance, it comes with a one year warrenty but thats only for manufactor defects. Keep one for back up.

    • Thanks, I still have my original. I don't think my 3G will be stolen, but my fear is dropping it. And then I'd be in the same boat as you--replacement at full cost. Sorry about your stolen phone. I still love the phone, but the downside is that it is expensive to replace!

    • I agree with you 110%. This is one of the best products I've ever had. I actually use it for data more than voice. A computer and communication device in your pocket! My nose is buried in it on the way to work on the bus. Anyway, thanks again and sorry about your cost. :-(
