How do you tell someone you like them while trying to still maintain a friendship if she doesn't feel the same about you?

    You can't do both. If you want to maintain a friendship, don't tell her you like her. If you want to persue a relationship, tell her but don't expect the friendship to continue if she doesn't feel the same way. Good luck!

    • No he's right, your just fooling yourself if you think differently. It taints the friendship & makes the other feel differently about you because they want to remain friends but don't want to lead you on making you think they have other intensions. +5

    • nope your wrong too. ive done the same thing. except after she said no to me, the friendship still stayed together and even got stronger.

    • I think its different with every person, Ive had a friend and after a while me and her became very close and i developed something extra for her. Sadly, she didnt feel the same way but we still tried to be friends and at first it was really rough but if you work through it, it can be done although i cant say it will be exactly like it was maybe it will..
