Apple Cider vinegar (about 1-2 tablespoons) diluted in warm water (approx a cup) and used as a topical wash on the vulva and in the vagina. It will sting initially, likely, but this will subside as it begins to work. Usually 2-3 applications will take care of the itching and possibly even one dose is enough. It is also a wise idea to look for the source. Do you suffer from this constantly or have chronic yeast infections? You would need to address this to prevent it happening again. It is also best to use organic apple cider vinegar to eliminate any impurities.

To Drinking Dano: I know you were joking, but someone might take it seriously :) I wasn't disputing you were told this, I just know that baby oil isn't something that should be used, this is from my experience teaching NFP and CBE classes and my studies in Women's Health.

    • After taking prescription meds, I got a serious yeast infection. I always eat yogurt when I take certain meds., but the problem wouldn't go away. I was in the bathroom searching the medicine chest when my husband came in and said why not try this. He hands me his hemroid cream. I told him that was not the problem, different area. He said why not give it a try. So I used it on the vulva, and around the opening,(but not inside), IT STOPPED THE ITCHING INSTANTLY. I am so thankful for a caring husband who has brain storms. It really works!!
