If a friend hates you because of your features or who you are - you can't really call that person a friend. Yes, how can you make a 'friend' not hate you. This is an alternative term that also relates to:

You see change 'hate' to 'like'. That is more positive. You see, I can read your title and it fills with pure negativity. You should want your friend to LIKE you! Firstly, to make a friend/person like you, you should first change your mindset and put more positive affirmations into your subconscious. Thus, believe that you can make the person like, because BELIEF is a strong thing that really can make you befriend with another person. So good beliefs about making friends easily, will show you the way to TRUE FRIENDSHIP!
I have a friend that half the time is really fun and sweet and the other half of the time really mean and argumentative. What do i do?
