    Yes, in Penna in 1982 there was a case where men--well actually a college sophomore was abducted as part of a sorority prank, stripped, tied down and pledges were required to have intercourse with him to his completion and theirs. Being scared he was unable to have an erection, but was manipulated so he did. THe courts ruled that this actions of the girls not only amounted to sexual assault, but met the definition of rape.

    Prior to that in some states, rape charges could be beaten on the grounds that if the "victim" had an orgasm they were not being abused sexually beyond their will, which was a condition for rape. This case and a few others separated the concept of rape which is the involuntary taking of someone in a sexual manner from sexual response in which biological influences are the major factor in the response.

    Rape can also involve placing not only a penis, but fingers, broomsticks, or other things in body orifices. Several men were rape in the late 90's in NYC in alleyways with broomhandles. In New Jersey in the late 90's, a bunch of girls who attended a slumber party were charged with rape for holding a fellow party attender down and using a dildo to penetrate here repeatedly in the vagina and anus...If you go to any website dedicated to the area of sexual assault, you can see stories like there. I got mine from news of the weird...but there are many others

    • With reference to the last paragraph in the answer, a form of ragging in girl's hostels in India, is what they call the "candlestick treatment". It's very traumatic for the girl victim, and she can never convince her future husband that she is indeed a virgin in the sexual sense, even though her hymen is perforated.
      Indian society is still conservative in these matters, though sexual values are now fast changing in urban areas. Sexually experienced urban girls often resort to hymen restoration surgery as part of their "preparation" for the wedding night.

      Perhaps I do not understand but it sounds somehow paradoxical that India with close to 1,200 million people and a population growth rate that is expected to take it to an incredible 1,800 million population by 2050 should place such high value on female virginity before marriage.
