If you are walking normally, report your neighbor to the landlord for the verbal abuse, ask anyone else who hears it to report him to the landlord. Can you photograph the neighbor spitting on your mailbox door? If you stomp a lot, try to not do that. Other than reasonable measures, it is their problem.
I live in an apartment where you hear everything your neighbors do and smell everything they cook and breathe everything they smoke. It is very annoying.
However, everyone here knows that is how it is. There are times I have to wear earplugs and, well, that is how it is.
What is something you'd prefer to rent rather than buy, even if you could afford to buy it?

You're reading My neighbor who lives below my apt. is angery because he hears me walking around upstairs. I can't not walk in my own apt. He has complained to the management, and has been verbally abusive. He spits on my mailbox door. What should I do, besides move?
