I received a speeding ticket for going 45 in a 35. I was going down a very steep hil and do not feel that it was fare. Does anyone have any advice on a argument to beat this ticket?

Most Police forces seem to have the same attitude towards vehicles that travel over the posted speed limit. There is a small "gap" to allow for old or faulty speedo's, however traveling at ten over does not really leave you with much to work on. And unfortunately the Police do use gravity to their advantage. I would keep a closer eye out for the posted speed limits. Also sometimes Police pick certain areas because the chance of people speeding without being aware of it is easy pickings. Whether this also rates to a marked reduction in road deaths is debatable. I'm sorry to say but like the other answers, I think you have to cop this one on the chin and keep a closer eye out next time.

    • Five over...the A/C feels too nice to leave now. Ten over...hello, speedy, nice to meet you.
