Why do many Christians not respect gay marriage?

• Whenever you hear the same exact voice that goes in your head and prevents your life by guiding you into a certain direction and the same time, it keeps you out of trouble... that is God! Some people are just to closed-minded and filled with demons to understand any of it, unless you think life is just a coincidence.
  
  Hold on, you want me to prove if God is real. The things that God has called us to do will always be things that we couldn't do in our own natural ability. If you could foretell every single day of your life without living in it yet, you would know it all.
  
  God is not a Religion, God is a personal experience, you claim humans feel special to be God's children... how else would you want Christians to feel, miserable? After God works in mysterious ways. :-) Take for example a lot of rich people who commit suicdide. We would think, they have it all, but many don't have happiness.

  1 Timothy 6:10 "For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."
  
  Did you read that, "they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels," Hmm... is there something missing in their lives? So yes I feel special to be one of God's children.

• Closed minded about what? What can you teach me? I offer you a friendly challenge, why don't you put any god or goddess to the test to see what those "gods" have to offer. Only an infinite, ferocious, Holy God creates everything for His own name, for His own renown and for the Praise of His glorious grace.
  
  Don't get me wrong, I didn't become a Christian because someone forced me. I was lost at times in situations were God gave me the easy way out through many destructive paths that the world has to offer. I acknowledged in my conscience who God was. Most don't take action until the end, but that is were the consequences are as a lack of preparation from the un-expected.
  
  Proverbs 27:1 "Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth."
  
  James 4:13-15 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: [14] Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. [15] Instead, you ought to say, "If it is the Lord's will, we will live and do this or that."

  By this, there wouldn't be no need for any deities. But being rich in mercy and wanting to display the infinite perfection of God's grace... Jesus lives the perfect life that He will impart to those who repent. Christianity is not in anything that a person can do to become good to earn a life. It has everything to do with what Christ has already done and our response to Him.

Common, give me a break, I know your smarter than that.
  
  God speaks to His annointed when they pray. God will speak to you mysteriously if you ever found yourself in a situation were an accident happened and in your mind you realized for some way, (not a coincidence) that you were heading into the same direction were something devastating has occured, but something told you in your mind to go the other way instead.
  
  Job 12:22 "He reveals the deep things of darkness and brings deep shadows into the light."
  
  Daniel 2:22 "He reveals deep and hidden things; He knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with Him."
  
  God speaks to us through people, circumstances, good times and bad times and even animals. Take for example dogs when they bark for no reason, they see something we can't see as sign of awareness. Many of us experience great difficulties in trying to find God's purpose for our lives. Sometimes we feel that we aren't worthy in what we do since no one is perfect.
  
  If you ever had such experiences, never hide your blessings. After a while you will know God and His voice. God deserves credit for our love, our life, our spiritual growth, our testimonies and our trust in Him.
  
  1 John 1:5 "This is the message we have heard from Him and declare to you: God is light; in Him there is no darkness at all."
  
  Psalm 73:24 "You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory."
  
  Luke 2:14 "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom His favor rests."
  
  No faith no God and were there isn't faith, you and any other faithless individual is on their own. But first we have to remember as I posted, "We would think, they have it all, but many don't have happiness." Who/what is happiness, money? Hmm... there is an all powerful God who wants to give you His blessings before time runs out.
