If you read some of my other posts, toothpastes can contain harmful ingredients.

Commonly, they often contain flouride, which is toxic. Very toxic and will affect a person's disposition. Many European countries will not allow Flouride in their water. The history behind the "flouride campaign" in America is the result of a corrupt PR campaign.

Another common ingredient is "sodium lauryl sulfate" (or similar agent). This is "soap". It is a sudsing agent. It is deliberately used by lab researchers to cause skin irritations on animals and people. So, often a buffering agent is added to the toothpast or cosmetic or soap in order to quell the irritation.

There could be other ingredients which cause irritation. The aluminum of the package is not healthy.

Tom's toothpaste contains the "sodium lauryl sulfate".

Go to www.the-natural-shop.com for links to information about some ingredients.

Here is a possible remedy or two. Neem leaves or neem powder. The twigs are used in India as a toothbrush...look at their teeth in photos. It works pretty well. I tried it. There are other concoctions you could use. I often use a mild solution of baking soda (ensuring not to brush hard)...switching out occasionally with a true apple cider vinegar (not the fake colored type). You may think of some better alternatives.
