At your best friends' wedding, how do you deal with the pity glances and rude questions about when you are "next," considering all your core friends are married and you are the only single one left?

    I am single...never married...and I don't regret it one bit. I endured those glances and rude questions for years and now, at family gatherings, parties, reunions and so on, when people are sitting around bitching and complaining about their spouses, child support payments, etc., I remind them of the time they looked down their noses at me for not being married. They admire me now.

    • Good for you! I'm sure you heard crickets after the comment you made. People really should accept your life choices even if they think it should be different. Only you know what's best for you.
