Where should I go to find a lawyer who can tell me what my rights are and what I'm entitled to if I decide to get a divorce?

Probably the best way to find a lawyer is to ask friends, co-workers, or an attorney you know who practices in another area if they know a good divorce lawyer who they would recommend. You can also contact your state bar association for a referral or look in the yellow pages. Many lawyers will provide a brief telephone or in office conference free of charge and answer some of your general questions.
