Selective Serotonin Noradrenalin Reuptake Inhibitators. This class of antidepressants is a move up from SSRI antidepressants in regard to the fact that these drugs work on noradrenaline, another chemical in your brain that affects mood. People claim to have faster recovery from depression on these drugs ie 3 days to 1 week, but generally as with all antidepressants, 4 weeks is the norm. Examples: Effexor, Remeron.
