Read histories of ancient Rome.Read histories on ancient Roman religion.Note that there was no TV or movies at the time.Let me summarize my reading.People in ancient Rome invented religions the way we moderns invent TV shows.Christianity is the Jews contribution to a long history of Greco-Roman mystery religions.Jesus existed and exists just as Zeus and Apollo-as comforting and amusing figments of the human imagination.
