Why don't Muslims celebrate Christmas?

    I am confused by that, I have a Muslim Friend that lived in teh UK for 15 years and celebrates christmas like crazy every year, even though they don't celbrate Eid at all and when I say you are a non practicing muslim to soften of th eimpact of not being a Muslim all together they get really mad at me.
    She geos to forign families parties and get togethers and think that its ok because its just a holiday.
    Yet she drinks and has fun with male friends and says that she is doing it in a normal manner. Does it make sense to you ?
