I think about this a lot. When my sweet little brother died by getting hit by a truck while riding his bicycle on the sidewalk, I questioned that every second. But now I see it like God was sad the day my brother died, but happy to receive another angel. I honestly don't think he was thinking, "Hey, I'm going to make this 14 year old boy get hit by a car and be in tons of pain and then die." I just can't believe that.

    • You have good reasons to believe in what you believe in, they help you to cope with your brother's death, sorry about your loss, I dont' know what I would do if I lost any of my brothers.

    • I think that is a very good answer. God doesn't want any of us to hurt. Remember Jesus wept at Lazarus' death too. He knows what it is to mourn and he is moved by our mourning. But he doesn't take the right of choice away, not even from the driver of that car.

I'm really sorry you suffered that.
