How do slavery influeced the evolution of both Black and White Americas today

    There are so many ways how slavery affected the evolution of Black and White Americans today. You can look at how many slave owners mixed together slaves from different tribes so they wouldn't communicate and try to start a revolt. This led to slaves who spoke different languages to create a common language, in which over time came to create ebonics. You can also look at how it changed the ideology of many black people because that idea that the more European you look the more attractive, weathly, or just simply great you would become or be. Another is of course racism.
