What are the best upgrades for an R/C car?

    The first thing to buy would be a good electronic speed controller. The mechanical ones are junk and will use up your batteries too quickly.

    The next thing to buy would be ball bearings, if you don't already have them. They will extend the life of the car and make it go faster as well.

    • Personally, I'd reverse that and get the ball bearing first. Then again, my first R/C car was a Tamiya Fox with PLASTIC bushings.
