Our daughter has a Mormon friend that told her she will go to hell because she is Catholic. What should we do?

    Here we go again, religious bigotry. I agree with everyone else, speak to the girl's parents. If it turns out this lunacy is what they believe also, then you'll have to try and explain the whole concept to your daughter ( depending on how old she is of course). I wouldn't discourage their friendship over this, kids need to learn to get along with others nomatter what their beliefs are - within reason of course - and a different perspective on climbing the same hill is not a valid reason for turning her back on someone she likes.
