I might have a faulty graphics adapter that might have broken my MB. Are there any technical devices that electricians might have that could be used to test if it's broken or not?

There are, however the labor costs of testing your motherboard will most likely be higher than the cost of a new one.

    • I gave you negative points because you didn't answer my question. You assumed that 1) I was interested in testing my MB where as I'm interested in testing my GPU. This is significant because I need to be sure that my GPU is faulty before I RMA it. Testing it on a new MB carries a risk of braking that as well. 2) That I would have to pay for having it tested. My friend is an electrician but has little computer experience, hence the question.

    • And I gave you negative points because you are a nit-picking a-hole.

    • I realised that I had phrased my question incorrectly but couldn't change it ATM so I decided to do it later.

My criticism, while valid from my POV, was not justifiable.

      I am sorry.

    • Your answer, though, also assumed I was either stupid or very uneducated about pretty basic realities of life. So I'd say it's pretty stupid of you to call me an asshole, even if I made a mistake.
