I almost always go with the Freeware or Shareware.
I know there will be those that argue "you get what you pay for" but it's been my experience that I can usually find something just about as good for free.
I guess it comes down to personal preference. I'm frugal. What can I say?:)
What is the best "paint/drawing" program for Windows in your opinion? What is the most simple to use?

If I have an educational version of Adobe Flash cs5 in the box, do I need to verify my Academic ID again to install it?

You're reading Between (photoshop), (paint.net) and (GIMP) which one of these would you recommend i get? i know PSCS3 is a popular graphic program, but carries a hefty price tag. but the other 2 are free. what do you think?
