Christians: If the body they found (See link below), was some how proven to be Jesus, would you still be a Christian?

    Yes. This isn't Jesus. Why would have the women and the disciples been so excited if he hadn't risen? The body and bones would've still been there and we wouldn't have narratives that were basically state that the same things happened (after all, different people see things differently - so we can't nitpick every little thing - just try to have three to four people record what happens in just ten minutes - all the things will be different.)

    • Uh..it's a story, it's mythology. Not one word was written about Jesus by anyone until two generations after he was alleged to have lived. In "Lord of the RIngs", the Hobbits were excited to see Gandalf and terrified of the Orcs. Do you believe Gandalf and the Orcs are real, to?

    • You CANNOT compare the Bible and the writings of Josephus to a book that we KNOW was written as fiction by JRR Tolkien.
