You're reading If trinity is the foundation of christian belief, than Jesus must explain it clearly. but he did not, why?
Comments
True it is not the foundation of Christianity.
On another note, my son looks just like me and people say "There's a little (JAMMco) running around"... that doesn't mean that he is literally me.
He exhibits my looks, my behavior and reminds many people of me. Therefore people could in fact get to know my son, and thereby know me as we think and act alike. He reflects my qualities just as Jesus reflects the qualities of his father. Since no one can see God, Jesus says you can see God through him... through his actions and behaviors that reflect God's qualities and set an example for us to follow.
I would never claim to be my son, and my son would never claim to be me. God created Jesus as his first creation, then he created other angels, the bible speaks of myriads of angels, if every 'son' of God (every angel) were to also be God, it would be more than a trinity... what would you call a God that is composed of millions of entities?

Well, I have to disagree here, too. Jesus, is God. However, Jesus is not the Father. The trinity may not be the foundation of the "Christian faith, but that doesn't say that I don't believe in the trinity!

The concept of a triple diety dates back farther than Christianity and naturally was one of the various Pagan teachings adapted into Christianity along with many others like Easter and Christmas.

Please, quit being so rude. Don't start this whole type of "I know religion better than you" stuff. It's rude when you do that do anybody. How you are acting is rude. I answer a question and then you have to belittle my beliefs just because it's not what you believe?
by KagomeShuko on May 15th, 2007
I am sorry KagomeShuko. I will not belittle your beliefs. It was never my intention, and I apologize.
