Help answer this question below.

My wife and I are looking to buy a 50" flat screen HDTV. We did some research and have found that the plasma TV's only last for 10 years and the LCD last longer. What are the pro's and con's for either the plasma or LCD?

Buy the cheapest tv possible.new technology only will be old tomorrow.Plus how great could it be?
