Will getting fired from a job because you found another job show bad taste to a potential employer? I already got the job but doesn't start for another month. I was just wondering that in years from now if I decided to change jobs will it look bad?

I think that when they see that you got fired it look slike you werent doing a great job at your job. Usually, in files, they'll have a few evaluations... and may ask the company for it. Depends on where youre applying. About your situation? I don't know. But just be sure to clarifiy if you feel its abosultely worth it. Also, years from now, if you can keep a steady job, I don't thikn it'll look bad. And I also think they stick to asking your last employer about you, unless youve been with several in the past year, then they might contact a few.

    • These days most employers won't say much when they're called for references. Just confirm dates of employments.
