    A police officer pulled over a car full of people for going too slowly on the freeway.

    He approached the driver's window and asked the driver, "This is the freeway! You're going much too slowly."

    The driver said, "The sign over there says the speed limit is 10."

    "That's the highway number, not the speed limit." replies the officer. "Why do your passengers look so suprised?"

    "We just got off of Highway 287."
