Help answer this question below.
Ray Mabus is a international politcal adviser to Barrak Obama's campaign. He is a democrat governer from the state of Mississippi. He was Clinton's Saudi Arabi advisor during Clinton's second term (see ref. http://www.barackobama.com/2007/05/22/mabus_to_advise_obama_on_middl.php).
In Nostradamus' third quatrain, Mabus is predicted to die in a campaign to unite all nations. Upon Mabus' death, Nostradamas predicts this will start the "end of days", and in the view of most historians, this refrences World War 3. Also, most historians believe this attempt by Mabus to unite all nations is a reference to the Middle East conflict. Upon the death of Mabus, Nostradamus states that the "Bear and the Eagle will unite against the Snake and Dragon". A possible reference to United States as the "eagle", Russia as the "Bear", China as the "dragon" and Iran as the "snake". Their are obviously other interpretations as always with Nostradamas' predictions.
Another prediction that you may find interesting is the prediction of Obama's victory and his presidency.
"The great empire will be torn from limb,
The all-powerful one for more than four hundred years:
Great power given to the dark one from slaves come,
The Aryana will not be satisfied thereby." (243)
Also, interestingly enough, the Mayans predict the end of the world in December of 2012. Which is a date mentioned by Nostradamas (with no knowledge of the Mayan Calander). Although, when asked directly by the Monarchy in France, Nostradamas stated that his predictions would continue until nearly 3500 AD.
Anyway you look at it, there are some scary times to come in the near future. Hope this helps.
