Just because a question is DRed doesn't mean it's people with the opposite view from yours.
There are trolls who DR on a whim...
There are those who DR ANY religious, non-religious, political, or anti-political statement...
There are those who DR because the question is insulting to them (no matter WHICH side of the aisle they're from)...
There are those who DR when you ask country-specific questions, since AB is worldwide...
There are those who DR when you mention a specific candidate or person in your question...
And, there are those like me who don't DR at all... We just either ignore the question, or answer it, expecting nothing or DRs, but hoping against hope that whomever reads our answer understands that we see things in different ways, and that EVERYONE is entitled to their opinion, no matter how stupid or wrong we think they are.
So... PROBABLY there are MANY others who DR more than Obama supporters. But you are NEVER going to get a consensus about who they are. So quit asking insulting questions like this, and get back to bagging without insults.
Bring back the point system with downrates and points: What do you think?

You know, IF I were a troll, I'd pick the topics most controversial and therefore most likely to cause hate and discontent when I DR them. It wouldn't matter what I personally thought about it, because it's the reaction I'd be interested in.

Granted, there are probably a significant number of people who DR because they don't link a question or and answer. That only makes sense, too, given the way humanity works.

Shady... You have the right to disagree, as do the others. BUT, if you add up all the DRs from the people I've listed, I'd be very willing to bet that they completely exceed DRs by ANY individual's supporters. ;-)

And, Chief's right. If I were a troll, I'd hit the places where people cry about it the loudest, since that's what I wanted to hear. Wouldn't you?
