What would be the outcome if mommy rabbit accidentally gets in with her son? will the babies be deformed?

    That would be what is called linebreeding, though that is usually done with father and daughter it seems. If both rabbits are exceptional specimens, it sometimes works, by people who really know what they are doing genetically speaking. But for most people, it's just compounding half of the genes and they are probably all the wrong ones. I wouldn't say deformed, but they may have physical problems like with their teeth or feet, their growth rate.

    It's not anything I would ever do as it doesn't improve the rabbits enough and there is too much of a risk in lowering the quality of the line. And I certainly would tell everyone who got one of these young rabbits to never ever breed them since they are very poor quality.

    What is really bad is called inbreeding. That is when it is 100% same genes, as in brother and sister. That is very dangerous.
