- whats fun is when you smell it first and know its bad- and then offer it to a friend as if it was good to eat. "What? Are you trying to KILL ME?" HA!

Why do we lack the vocabulary to define smells? We CAN say it smells LIKE something: freshly baking bread or a rose. But we never seem to have a strict vocabulary.We can say it is a red rose or a deep red rose or an orange red rose. But not so with smell.

If someone smells like they've gone without a shower for an unacceptably long time (more than 48 hours), do you keep it to yourself, give off subtle signs & hints, or directly let them know? How? What would you say and/or do?
