I cut some skin off of my dogs ear while trying to get some matted hair off of her. Its not bleeding alot and she starts to shake occasionally (and I can see the inside of her ear), do we need to drop her by the vet or would household items do?

leave now and take your dog to the vet. and leave removing matted hair to people who have some idea as to what they are doing.

    • We did, and apprently they hadn't been taking care of her. We were afriad she was going to get hotspots. But I accidently over estimated her hair. We took her to the emergency vet, she's fine. Luckily the vet understood and said there wasn't even a problem.

    • What was the vet's treatment for your dog?
