Help answer this question below.

Recently iv been told that not brushing your hair causes it to fall out because of build up of dead hair means new hair cant grow. how true is this? im a 19 year old male with long hair and i never brush it.

    the only way your hair would stop growing is if your hair follicles on your scalp are plugged with dirt or oil or whatever. and your hair doesn't "build up" on your head after it "dies" if you wash your hair regularly, it should be fine.

    but you should really try at least combing it once a day....
