Hmm, it was late last night. Probably on the National Geographic channel, history channel or something similar. I can't say for sure, I found it as I was doing my nightly channel flipping repetitions.

Why would his family And Joseph be in a tomb in jerusalem. Most people belive joseph died before jesus preached and so his father would have nothing to do with jerusalem and would not have been barried there , he would be in nathezerth or of course heaven with jesus and mary. Also why was matthrew in there? Then there's the fact the name mary, joseph and jesus where like nikki, john and josh these days.If there where 5 mary's in the bible I think there was more then just that and it said people said they did works in jesus name so many people where mixed up with jesus christ back then even let alone 2,000 year later

the stories you hear about on so called reputable networks like the history channel can be very misleading! the bible does not indicate when mary died, much less indicate that she would have ascended to the heavens. these are manmade traditions taught as facts in the catholic church, yet unable to substantiate them through scripture.

In a doc I saw, The evidence on the supposed stone casks was proven to be added later and are not of the period claimed.

exactly! beware of the validity of these sources, especially when it has to do with matters of scriptural truths. for more information on what the Bible really teaches go to www.watchtower.org
