How long is a 'normal' grieving period after a pet dies?

It depends on your relationship with that particular pet. Obviously you would miss some more than others. I agree with the other postings here that there is no 'normal' time....each case is individual. Personally I find that replacing the lost pet quickly is the best way to get over the grieving.
